Prado Outdoor project
Related Group
Related Group is one of the largest residential developers in the United States, and its amenity decks are among the most heavily used outdoor spaces built anywhere. Pool decks, rooftop lounges and terrace seating in a multi-family building serve hundreds of residents rather than one family.
Multi-family changes what matters. Cycle count and replaceability outrank everything. Furniture is used constantly, moved by residents daily, cleaned by staff on a schedule, and left out year round in South Florida heat, humidity and hurricane season. The specification uses Grade A teak heartwood and 316 stainless hardware because both can be maintained in place with no coating to refinish, and Sunbrella solution-dyed acrylic because a partial cushion replacement three years in still needs to match what is already on the deck.
Prado supports this work as a contract supplier rather than a catalog: per-piece specification sheets for the design team, fabric and finish approvals before production, phased delivery aligned to building turnover, and long-term availability of the same collections so a property can replace pieces individually for years instead of re-specifying a whole deck.
